McLaren Lapeer is looking for an Outpatient Radiation Oncology Physicist When is coverage needed to start? ASAP Schedule requested: day shift 8a-5p The individual would have to be on site every Tuesday, and depending on QA, maybe another day. All other days would be remote. Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15 Documentation System/EMR: Aria What type of linear accelerator and how many? (Varian or Elekta and the model type) Varian TruBeam Are there other staff physicists, or will this be a solo position? Solo support for Lapeer operation but will get peripheral support from Flint Does physics do any treatment planning (for SRS or SBRT) No - Dosimetry will plan and physics will need to perform typical physics reviews What is the treatment planning system? (Eclipse, Monaco, Raystation etc...) Eclipse How is patient specific QA shot? (portal dosimetry or Archcheck) Portal dosimetry Portal Dosimetry, therapists will typically run the plans and physics will need to analyze Any additional skills needed: ex: Chart Checks in R and V Systems - Working Knowledge of IMRT, SRS and ability to perform Machine and Patient QA QA work required. Should be familiar with IMRT, SBRT, SRSMcLaren does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using DocTime - no timesheets will be approved Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between McLaren Health Care & AHSA.
