DescriptionWe are seeking highly qualified and dedicated Special Education professionals to support students with disabilities and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Special Education, an active Indiana Teaching License in Special Education, and have proven experience working with students and families with diverse learning needs.This role involves serving as a key member of Multidisciplinary Teams, coordinating and conducting case conferences, and providing expertise in special education laws, regulations, and best practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with parents, educators, and community resources, and act as a resource to remove barriers to student success. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Serve as member and resource to Multidisciplinary Teams for initial evaluations and reevaluationsCoordinate and conduct case conferences in an a manner consistent with federal and state guidelinesMonitor and research best practices in Special Education, disseminating information to appropriate personnel and stakeholdersServe as a resource for teachers, school personnel and parentsDemonstrate knowledge of Article 7 and Special ProgramsAdditional duties as assigned
