By combining deep expertise in clinical trials with cutting-edge AI, we empower research teams and study sponsors to expand and expedite access to novel therapeutics for patients in need.Job descriptionThe On-Site Laboratory Technician plays a key role in supporting an active Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) clinical trial by ensuring timely and accurate processing of biological samples, maintaining laboratory compliance, and managing lab kit inventory. This role works closely with the clinical research and regulatory team to ensure high-quality sample handling and adherence to sponsor and protocol-specific requirements. ResponsibilitiesProcess, centrifuge, and prepare biological samples per protocol (e.g., serum, plasma, stool, biopsies)Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and timely shipment of samples to central labsMaintain appropriate sample storage conditions (e.g., refrigeration, -20°C, -80°C as applicable)Monitor and replenish lab kit inventoryTrack and log kit usage, sample shipments, and processing logs per sponsor requirementsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the lab processing areaAdhere to GCP, IATA, and protocol-specific lab handling guidelinesAssist clinical staff with troubleshooting lab-related questions or issuesWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsWork Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:00.High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred)Basic computer proficiencyPreferred QualificationsPrior management experience in a lab settingPrior experience in a clinical or lab research settingComfortable working in a fast-paced research environmentHigh attention to detail and compliancePhlebotomist license a plusAt Iterative Health, we're actively working towards creating an environment that is representative of the diversity of patients our technology serves.
