A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to serve as Director of Pharmacy, with possible responsibilities as Pharmacist in Charge, providing critical pharmacy oversight in a behavioral health inpatient setting. This contract position is based in Bethlehem, PA, offering an immediate start to cover until a permanent hire is finalized. Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication order verification and stock management Serve as a licensed pharmacist attending interdisciplinary meetings and contributing to patient care initiatives Manage Omnicell medication dispensing systems and complete order entry using EPIC after onsite training Develop and implement pharmacy policies and standard operating procedures tailored to behavioral health needs Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards Provide on-call support and weekend order verification remotely Support pharmacy setup and ongoing system enhancements in a fast-paced inpatient environment Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist licensure is mandatory Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with EPIC order entry system and Omnicell automation (training provided for Omnicell) Demonstrated leadership capabilities and pharmacy management skills Ability to work independently in a setting without pharmacy tech support Strong organizational, communication, and policy development skills Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus on-call duties Weekend order verification from home at 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM for approximately 1 hour each session Professional attire is either scrubs or business casual, adaptable to facility standards.
