The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Full Time RegularShift: DAY SHIFTDepartment: Medical EducationPosition SummarySummary:The Senior Residency Program Coordinator oversees the planning and coordination of the operational and financial activities of the residency program. Collaborates in the development of programs goals and objectives; provides sound guidance and advice on residency program issues. Ensures compliance with current guidelines of the American Medical Association (AMA), Accreditation Council for Gradual Medical Education (ACGME) and applicable specialty boards. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the department's residency program for residents and voluntary attendings. Under the guidance of the Residency Program Director, ensures timely submission of completed House staff appointment applications to the medical center. He/She maintains rotation schedules and grand round appointments for staff, as well as maintains accurate records of current and past residents.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required• Must complete in-house orientation program• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience And Skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Speaks, reads and writes English• 5 years of experience in a medical and/or academic setting• Advanced computer skills • Strong communication and writing skills• Excellent organization, management and technical skills• Ability to comprehend and interpret complex regulations and/or procedures• Strong analytical skills• Former experience in a medical school strongly preferredLicense/CertificationsWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Ability to handle multiple tasks, often switching from one to another without loss of efficiency and accuracy. • Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, bending. • Carrying heavy objects up to 25 lbs. • Reaching to retrieve or file of charts. • Prolonged time sitting at a computer and on the telephone.
