School Psychologist- Durham, NC Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support students across K-12 in a single-site school setting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in psychoeducational evaluations, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions, along with a collaborative approach when working with students, families, and school staff. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments• Lead and participate in IEP meetings• Provide counseling support and student group interventions• Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families• Support MTSS/RTI frameworks and data-driven decision-making• Maintain compliance with special education laws and timelines Required Qualifications: • Valid School Psychologist License (North Carolina)• 3-5 years of relevant experience• Completion of an approved graduate program (Ed.S., MS + CAS, or equivalent)• Successful completion of the Praxis School Psychologist exam Skills & Experience: • Experience with cognitive and academic assessments (e.g., WISC-V, Woodcock-Johnson, WIAT)• Familiarity with behavioral assessment tools (e.g., BASC-3, Conners)• Strong knowledge of IEP systems, IDEA compliance, and MTSS/RTI models• Experience with FBA/BIP development and behavioral interventions• Excellent communication and collaboration skills Benefits: All Standard Benefits
