Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Laboratory on a Per Diem basis.The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is responsible for specimen collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical laboratory results in accordance with established standards. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will have oversight responsibilities/accountability for section technical oversight under the direction of the lab manager. Will also aid in the implementation of the QA program.Position Requirements:Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology (or other Science) with one year of clinical training at an approved school of Medical Laboratory SciencePreferred Professional Experience: Prior related experienceLicensure: Current MLS, MT (ASCP) certification or equivalentComputer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
