General Description Provide leadership and direction for employees consistent with the Victory Bay Treatment Philosophy as well as clinical services to the clients of Victory Bay Recovery Center. Responsible for enhancing program goals and objectives, ensuring compliance standards are met for documentation and overall safety measures of the facility, as well as collaborating with medical, administrative, and operations departments to ensure processes are aligned for launching of new services. Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEssential DutiesStrengthen resources through collaboration with educational, community, practitioner, and outpatient and rehabilitation treatment partners.Ensuring that incident reports are completed within 24 hours per internal reporting proceduresSurvey/outcome supportOversee family communication by staff on behalf of clientsCreatively lead VB clinicians and implement changes to curriculum when necessaryDaily monitoring of clinical activity and implementationBecome a Super Admin in KIPUMake sure all signage in KIPU (Electronic Medical Records) is accurate and time stamps are not conflictingCoordinate and supervise clinical treatment team meetingsDaily oversight of clinical schedules including managing clinical staff time off and coverageTrain clinical staff of proper documentation protocol including HIPPA and regulatory compliance for state and Joint CommissionManage and/or conduct clinical staff performance evaluations according to regulationsPerform substance abuse assessments on clients that are coming into the program. After assessments are performed, make diagnosis and assign to primary clinician.Ensure that direct clinical supervision is provided at least 1 hour a week to all clinical staff, in the form of group and individual supervisionProvide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Ensure the treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders is provided by qualified clinical staff and that clinical consultation occurs between substance abuse and co-occurringProvide orientation, training, and evaluation of newly hired clinical staff on agency processesVarious project supportChart audits for overall complianceParticipate in planning of organizational expansion(s)Data outcome collection and managementFunction as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee that evaluates the compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Victory Bay Recovery Center treatment programImplement and maintain processes to ensure accuracy in billing encountersWork with the psychiatrist and Director of Nursing on coordinating and scheduling and follow-up on psychiatric services for clients in need of evaluations, medication review or other servicesEnsure that all clinical staff complete the required trainings as mandated by the NJ regulations and Joint Commission standardsSupervise the Integrated Services and Addiction SupervisorSigning off on clinical documentation in KIPU and monitoring LOS auditsMAP implementationEnsure Peer Reviews are completedClinical Leader for Admissions reviewsOn-Call/After-Hours Phone coverage and availability, as needed Key Results (OKR's): 15-20 Clinical Chart Audits completed in a quarterEnsuring Special Projects are completed within allotted frames related to launching new service lines; completion of New Service Line Checklist (Family Program, MH Housing, Eating Disorder Program).Ensuring the supervisors/supervisees are meeting OKR's Crosswalks during State/JCAHO inspectionsEnsuring Facility Documentation is to JCAHO standard per biennial/triannual inspections.Ensuring Staff meet qualifications of providing services, linkage to trainings.Additional DutiesAssists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
