Job Title: Neurology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Location: Germantown and Silver Spring, MDJob Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled bilingual (English and Spanish, required) Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a multi-location neurology practice. Experience and/or post-graduate training in neurology is preferred. This role involves providing high-quality care to neurology patients in both outpatient clinic settings and hospital environments under the supervision of a neurologist.Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in collaboration with a supervising neurologist. Provide outpatient care to patients at clinic locations in Germantown and Silver Spring. Perform inpatient neurology consultations and follow-ups in hospital settings. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response. Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records. Participate in on-call rotation, including occasional night calls. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Stay current with advancements in neurology and evidence-based practices. Compensation: Salary is commensurate with neurology experience and productivity, primarily based on the average number of patients seen per day.
