Hours of JobFull Time - 72 hours per pay periodNo weekends or holidays Duties and Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms diagnostic radiographic/imaging procedures.Operates radiographic/imaging equipment and associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.Evaluates radiographs or images for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.Helps maintain the office Radiation Protection Program and Quality Assurance Manual as well as helps prepare for inspection by the Ohio Department of Health. Clinical Support ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signs.Assist providers during patient visits as needed.Support clinical workflows, including assisting with blood draws and basic procedures.Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment. Clerical & Front Office SupportGreet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner.Answer and route incoming phone calls.Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and general front-desk duties.Completes patient registration when needed.Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.RequirementsFlexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.Education/CertificationsGraduate of an accredited radiography program or successful completion of Ohio Department of Health accredited didactic and clinical education courses for general x-ray machine operators.Must meet all requirements for continuing education set forth by the AART and ODH.Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (AART) or certification by the Ohio Department of Health.Hold a current valid Ohio Radiologic license in the category of Radiology (R) or general x-ray Machine Operator (GXMO) with clinical module associated to designated areas of the body will be obtaining images of.ExperiencePrevious clinic experience is preferred not required.
