American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of IR experience, including required Cardiac Cath and Mechanical Stroke competency, for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.Job Details• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a 186-bed Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital,• Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, and Mechanical Stroke cases are core to this role,• EP Ablation experience is a plus but not required,• 4x9.5-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (schedule may vary based on department need),• Call and weekend shifts required as needed with a 30-minute callback and travel time requirement,Job Requirements• CT-registered Rad Tech (ARRT-R) with competency as a scrub tech for Cardiac Cath and IR procedures,• Mechanical Stroke experience required,• Minimum of 3 years of IR experience, or 5 years of total experience that includes IR,• Current BLS and ARRT-R certifications required,• First-time travelers considered with a minimum of 5 years of experience,• License required if applicable,• 1 professional reference required for consideration,Additional Information• Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital environment,• Travelers must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate,• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility,• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted,• COVID vaccine required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted,• Scrubs are provided,• Free parking is available on-site
