Overview Assist Manager, Drug Control in the daily operations of the pharmacy storeroom which includes responsibility for purchasing pharmaceuticals and IV solutions. Qualifications Required Education: Associate's degree Specific course work: (If applicable): Associate's Degree or 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Tech may be accepted in lieu of degree. Necessary Skills: 1. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. 2. Must have physical capability to life up to 50 pounds and be able to move supplies from the pharmacy storeroom to the appropriate pharmacy location. 3. Must be able to accurately discriminate between drug products and have good basic math skills. Required Experience: 3-5 years of Pharmacy tech experience Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of pharmaceutical purchasing experience preferred.
