PositionWe are seeking an Anatomical Pathology (AP) Applications Specialist to serve as the clinical and technical subject matter expert for Inpeco's anatomical pathology solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product engineering, sales, service, and customer laboratories to ensure optimal clinical use and workflow integration across histology, cytology, and digital pathology environments.This is a field-based position supporting the North America region.Key Responsibilities:Clinical & Technical Expertise: Act as the primary clinical expert for AP products, including histology processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, coverslipping, and digital automation solutions.Workflow Optimization: Provide in-depth workflow analysis and consultative guidance to customers on optimizing laboratory efficiency, quality, and standardization.Pre-Sales Support: Support the commercial organization by delivering product demonstrations, workflow presentations, and technical consultations to articulate clinical benefits and ROI.Implementation & Validation: Lead system installations and workflow validation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and ISO.Training & Education: Deliver structured training programs for pathologists, histotechnologists, and laboratory managers, and serve as a clinical educator at industry events.Post-Installation Support: Partner with field service and quality teams to provide advanced applications troubleshooting and resolve complex clinical issues.Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically (and occasionally internationally), including overnight travel. Internal Stakeholders: Sales, Service, R&D, and Regulatory teams. External Stakeholders: Pathologists, Histotechnologists, and Laboratory Managers. RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with a strong clinical background and a consultative mindset:Education: Bachelor's degree required; degree in Histotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or Medical Laboratory Science preferred.Certification:HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) certification is strongly preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an anatomical pathology laboratory environment or equivalent applications role.Technical Skills: * Deep understanding of histology and AP workflows.Experience with AP instrumentation, automation, and digital pathology solutions.Prior experience in the medical device, diagnostics, or IVD industry is highly desirable.Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation, training, and customer-facing communication skills with strong analytical capabilities.
