Position: Director of Resident CarePay Range: $65000 - $80000 / yearly Depending On Experience Implementing, and overseeing the programs and services of the assisted living facility. The goals are to fulfill the basic psychological, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional and spiritual needs of residents while promoting quality of life in a nurturing environment. The qualified Licensed Registered Nurse for this position should: Be well rounded, possessing patient-focused skilled nursing experiencePossess superior communication skillsBe dependable, flexible and passionate about senior care Position Highlights: Supervise the daily operation of the center and other units assigned.Daily roundsSupervision of the teamPerform pre-move in assessments, as needed, in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Director.Initiate, and update resident plan of care, and revise care plans as needed.Coordinate and participate in care plan meetings.Strong clinical background preferredOn Call after hours (rotating)Is responsible for maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills.Utilizes the nursing process in assessment, planning and implementing care.Exhibits organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the patient care needsIntegrates current standards of practice as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to nursing services in the care of patients.Practices continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills.Must be caring, compassionate, good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be a team playerAdminister Medications per Physician orders.Documenting in patient's chartsAssists in the preparation for admission of patients.Clinical and administrative tasksAssists in and accompany patients in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.Handling patient and family complaintsOther duties as assigned Education/Licensure: Degree in related field with a minimum of (1) year experience specializing in Alzheimer's and Dementia in a residential setting preferred.Licensed Registered nurseWe offer competitive rates and benefits for Full time employment including dental, vision, disability insurance, 401 (k) with generous company match, and more.
