A pharmacist opportunity is available for a travel assignment in Blythe, CA, lasting approximately 8 to 10 weeks beginning in early March. This role involves working primarily as a solo pharmacist providing essential pharmaceutical support in a hospital setting focused on Emergency Department operations. Schedule & Hours: 3 to 4 days per week 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Potential 7-on/7-off schedule Some on-call responsibilities during night shifts Key Responsibilities: Support the Emergency Department as the primary pharmacist, ensuring timely medication delivery and management Respond promptly to Code Blue events as a critical clinical team member Compound sterile and non-sterile medications accurately to meet patient needs Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff and patients by providing guidance on pharmaceutical care Collaborate with support services such as laboratory, radiology, and cardiology to ensure comprehensive patient care Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active California Pharmacist license is required Experience working inpatient hospital settings is strongly preferred Proficiency in sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions confidently This travel role provides a unique opportunity to broaden clinical skills in a high-impact environment while delivering critical care support.
