An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with MS/Telemetry experience to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Webster, NY. This contract position focuses on managing cardiac and stroke patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing interventions aligned with hospital protocols. This role requires strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, along with proficiency in peripheral line care and non-invasive airway support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and an in-house phlebotomy team that supports vital signs, blood draws, and daily living activities. Position Details: Location: Webster, NY Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-hour (7 PM to 7 AM) Patient Ratios: Day/Evening 5:1 (stretch 6-7); Night 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in) Float Requirements: May float within scope between MS, ICU, and ED units Charting System: Epic preferred Scrub Color: Navy and white combos On-Call: Not required Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Licensure: Full RN license required; no pending licenses accepted Experience: Minimum of 1 year; first-time travelers accepted Contract Type: Contract Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid RN license with experience in MS/Telemetry nursing Competency in interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias Proficient in peripheral and central line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions Familiarity with Rapid Response Team protocols Ability to handle use of medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and portable oxygen tanks Comfortable with Epic charting system and multi-unit float assignments Location Insights: Webster, NY, offers a suburban atmosphere with easy access to larger metropolitan areas.
