A well-established hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy experience or strong sterile compounding expertise. Location: Golconda, NV (Winnemucca area) Position Type: Contract to Hire (Travel-to-Hire or Direct Hire) Work Environment: Hospital/Inpatient Pharmacy Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and dispense medications within the inpatient hospital pharmacy setting Apply expertise in sterile compounding to ensure safe and effective preparation of intravenous and other sterile pharmaceuticals Collaborate with medical staff to optimize pharmacotherapy and support patient care plans Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations Participate in pharmacy operational activities including inventory management and quality assurance Schedule & Hours: Flexible scheduling accommodating staff availability and travel needs Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Possible shifts include rotating 3-4 twelve-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, schedule varies based on departmental needs Qualifications & Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with valid credentials and licensing Experience in inpatient pharmacy or strong sterile compounding capability required Flexibility with various scheduling structures Interest in long-term placement with potential relocation preferred Open to travel-to-hire or direct hire employment arrangements This contract to hire opportunity offers a pathway to a stable, long-term pharmacy position with excellent exposure to inpatient hospital practice and advanced sterile compounding services.
