A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a full-time position in Elmira, NY. Location: Elmira, NY Job Type: Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, and mix medications and medical compounds, ensuring precise dispensing of prescription and non-prescription products. Provide professional advice and counsel to self-medicating patients and maintain communication with healthcare providers and insurance professionals. Administer patient immunizations regularly to support community health. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, manage pharmacy associates by scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, recognizing performance, and enforcing company policies to optimize team productivity. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Current, active New York State Pharmacist License. New York Immunization Certification preferred.
