This opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with critical care and NICU experience for a 13-week contract assignment in Vestal, NY. The role requires working 36 hours per week during daytime shifts, providing respiratory therapy services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Qualifications: Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid New York State Respiratory Therapy License BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Experience with critical care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients Proficiency with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system Ability to perform external patient transports as needed Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to critically ill and neonatal patients Utilize advanced ventilator equipment including BiPAP and Puritan Bennett models Document care and interventions accurately within EPIC software Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Participate in safe and effective external patient transports when required Location Overview: Vestal, NY, is a vibrant community known for its welcoming atmosphere and access to quality healthcare facilities.
