A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certified Fluency Year (CFY) is needed to provide FMLA coverage in a school setting. This contract position is based in Palmdale, CA, serving a large school district with the potential for extension beyond the fall term. Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to school-aged students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy targeting pediatric speech and language needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations. Manage caseload efficiently while providing attentive and personalized care. Qualifications: Valid SLP certification and credentials (CCC-SLP) with experience in school-based pediatric settings. Completion of CFY or eligibility to complete CFY under supervision. Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development. Experience with school district procedures and FMLA coverage preferable. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
