Location: Dublin, OH Schedule: Tuesday 2/3, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 2/5, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 2/10, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 2/12, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday 2/13, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Provide expert patient consultation and medication therapy management for complex cases, focusing on disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis Utilize strong communication skills to educate and guide Medicare/Medicaid and low-income patients with low literacy rates Apply in-depth knowledge of the top 200-400 retail drugs within a specialty pharmacy setting Employ compassion and patience while supporting patients through intricate medication regimens Use Pioneer Rx software to manage prescriptions efficiently and accurately Desired Experience and Qualifications: Strong retail and/or specialty pharmacy background, with specialty retail experience highly preferred Proven ability to manage and consult on advanced chronic disease states confidently Exceptional communication and patient consultation skills tailored to diverse patient populations Commitment to patient-centered care focused on quality and consultation over volume This per diem role invites you to contribute your expertise within a pharmacy model dedicated to personalized care and complex medication therapies.
