Job Description

The Clinical Education Coordinator for Interventional and Advanced Modalities plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a dynamic clinical education program aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements. Working collaboratively with the Program Coordinator and Clinical Instructors, this individual will lead clinical instruction, support curriculum development, and ensure students receive a high-quality, hands-on learning experience across classroom, lab, and clinical environments. This role also provides leadership in recruiting, training, and supporting clinical instructors while fostering strong partnerships with clinical sites. Minimum Qualifications Required: * Associate's degree (all degrees should be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency that is recognized by the United States Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC) or successful completion of an accredited program in a related healthcare field and current, active professional certification in one of the following: * Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). * Registered Nurse (RN - )State Board of Nursing * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) - State Respiratory Care Board * Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT-T) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. * Registered Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMT-P) - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or an equivalent state licensing body * Current, active Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. * Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience. * Current ACLS certification, or certification within 12 months of hire. * Current BLS certification. * Teaching, precepting, or clinical instruction experience in a cardiovascular clinical setting. * Competent in computer skills that include Microsoft Suite and internet use. * Understand of, and commitment to the unique nature and role of Health Technologies programs and the College. Preferred Qualifications Preferred: * Bachelor's degree related to a healthcare profession. * Advanced computer skills. * Experience with online or hybrid learning platforms. * Advanced technical or simulation-based training experience. Essential Duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. * Design, implement, and continuously enhance clinical education programming to meet accreditation and industry standards * Deliver engaging instruction across classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings * Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback * Develop and manage student clinical schedules and learning experiences * Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise clinical instructors * Collaborate on curriculum design and program development initiatives * Support student advising and success initiatives in partnership with Student Success teams * Assist with program budgeting, equipment oversight, and resource planning * Foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and belonging * Maintain strong relationships with clinical partners and community stakeholders * Ensure compliance with SACSCOC, JRC-CVT/CAAHEP, and other regulatory standards * Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement efforts At Forsyth Tech we cultivate a culture of belonging where every member - students, staff, and faculty - are valued, respected, accepted and encouraged to use our true and authentic self and the voice of our unique characteristics and experiences.
