Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for the comprehensive athletic training outreach program. This role will have system-wide responsibility for overseeing the delivery of high-quality sports medicine services via athletic trainers supporting partner high schools, colleges, professional teams, club level sports and middle schools. Job Description: EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. * Bachelor's degree TYPICAL EXERIENCE: * 6 years recent relevant experience * Current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification preferred SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: * Knowledge of business development, community partnerships, and community outreach. * Knowledge of running a health system based athletic trainer program. * Knowledge of pre-participation physicals. * Knowledge from working across a highly matrixed health care organization.
