The CT technologist is responsible for interpreting physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture the necessary images while adhering to safety procedures.ResponsibilitiesProduce cross-sectional images using CT scannersInterpret physician scanning instructions accuratelyAdminister contrast materials as requiredPrepare and operate CT scan equipmentPosition patients for appropriate imagingFollow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposureRequired Experience / Certifications / LicensureHigh School graduate and graduate of an A.M.A. approved school for radiologic technologyAdvanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional RadiographyLicensed in NYS as a radiologic technologistAdvanced certification as a CT technologistCurrent ARRT certificationCertified by NYS for contrast injectionsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a CT technologistWhy ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
