The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bordered by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over 10,800 tribal members, and all individuals conducting business over approximately 96 square miles of residential, agricultural, and commercial lands. The Community serves as a full-service government entity committed to the health and well-being of its people and workforce. Examples of Tasks What the job looks like: The Outpatient Behavioral Health team is seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and culturally grounded behavioral health professional to take on a key leadership role overseeing a team of providers who work directly with children and families. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing and supporting a clinical team in a behavioral health setting, including providing day-to-day supervision, guiding clinical decision making, and ensuring high-quality, family-centered care. This position requires deep expertise in staffing complex cases, offering clinical insight, and maintaining a supportive structure that helps providers grow and excel in their work. The successful candidate will also be responsible for facilitating Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, ensuring that family voice, cultural values, and community strengths are central to the planning process. In addition, this role includes developing and delivering training, coaching staff, and strengthening program practices to meet the needs of children and families with diverse behavioral health needs. Since our services are rooted in community connection, applicants should have meaningful experience working within a tribal community or with tribal community members, with the ability to respectfully integrate cultural traditions, teachings, and healing practices alongside evidence-based behavioral health approaches. The ideal candidate should also have prior knowledge of the Salt River Pima and Maricopa Indian Community. We are looking for a collaborative, confident leader who can balance clinical expertise with cultural humility and who is committed to supporting both providers and the families they serve.
