Job Title: Radiology AideHome Department: RadiologyReports To: Radiology DirectorDirect Reports: NoneFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptPosition SummaryUnder the supervision of a certified Radiologic Technologist, the Radiology Aide assists with a variety of clerical and patient care activities. General Duties, Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAssists certified Radiologic Technologist with receiving and transporting patients; answers questions about procedures.Cleans, sanitizes, and monitors equipment/facilities as needed.Prepares imaging room and supplies for examinations and assists the technologist with procedures as needed and appropriate.Performs clerical duties including data entry and documentation, and maintaining patient records.Complies with all established safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.Participates in performance improvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.Education RequirementsHigh School diploma / Equivalent RequiredLicense/Certification RequirementsBLS RequiredExperience RequirementsHealthcare experience preferredRadiology student preferred Additional SkillsAbility to work independently, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely mannerExcellent communication and customer service skills
