Position Summary The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University is seeking a new or mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Orthopedist. This position will involve working at a multi-specialty medical practice and hospital in Hudson Valley, adjacent to New York City. In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to patients seeking specialized orthopedic care. Responsibilities * Building and maintaining a busy clinical practice in your area of subspecialty. * Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth. * Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes. * Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts. * Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications. * Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients. * Achieve and uphold high patient satisfaction scores. * Meet or surpass productivity targets. * Collaborating with a team of full-time and voluntary faculty across the Columbia and NewYork-Presbyterian network.
