By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to EHS policies.Develop, implement, and deliver EHS training programs for all employees.Investigate all EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective and preventive actions.Perform risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.Support the development and implementation of EHS management systems and programs.Maintain accurate EHS records, including permits, training logs, incident reports, and inspection findings.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.3-5 years of progressive EHS experience, with a strong preference for manufacturing or industrial settings.Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and compliance.Proven ability to conduct EHS risk assessments, lead incident investigations, develop safety programs, and deliver EHS training.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence safety culture and drive continuous improvement.Bonus QualificationsProfessional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM).Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).Background in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies applied to EHS.ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.Job Titles That Should ApplyEHS Specialist, Health and Safety Specialist, Environmental Safety Specialist, Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, HSE Specialist, Environmental Compliance Specialist, Safety AdvisorWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
