An opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide essential cardiopulmonary services in a dynamic hospital setting. This travel position involves delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic care to inpatients and outpatients according to established protocols and department policies. The role requires proficiency in assisting physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures, managing ventilators, and conducting specialized respiratory tests. Key Responsibilities: Administer medicated aerosols using medical compressed gases. Maintain patients' airways and manage ventilators effectively. Assist with procedures such as insertion of arterial lines and intubations. Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and arterial blood gas analysis. Adhere strictly to medical staff protocols and departmental policies to ensure timely care. Qualifications & Certifications: Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification. Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license. Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Experience working in acute care or hospital settings is preferred.
