A community-focused retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage, supporting their Spring Branch location. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a high-volume environment while working with a locally owned business committed to excellent service. Location: Spring Branch, TX Schedule: Per diem coverage Training: June 25 and June 26 Shifts: June 29, June 30, July 1, and July 2 Hours: 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break Responsibilities: Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions Process high volumes of electronic prescriptions efficiently (10+ orders per page) Counsel patients on medication use, safety, and adherence Verify non-sterile compounding practices Administer immunizations as needed (minimal) Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy management Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage workflow Manage inventory and handle recalls promptly Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards Deliver exceptional customer service Support drive-thru and delivery services operations Qualifications: Active Texas pharmacist license Minimum 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience Willingness to learn new software (training provided for Computer RX) This role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced setting while providing personalized patient care.
