Physician - Neurology Position Summary Full specialty physician services provided under a non-personal services arrangement in accordance with DHA and MTF requirements. Education and Experience Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with specialty training as required by the PWS. Certifications BLS/ACLS and specialty-required certifications per PWS; computer-based training not acceptable. Licensure Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada. Board Certification Board-certified or board-eligible by an ABMS/AOA-recognized board for the specialty. Contract Worker Standard Qualifications * Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system. * Provide scheduled outpatient neurology services. * Provide inpatient neurology consultation and stroke coverage per call schedule. * Provide immediate evaluation and management of neurologic emergencies. * Perform lumbar punctures and interpret EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials. * Provide chemodenervation treatments such as botulinum toxin injections when privileged. * Prepare required records and reports supporting services rendered. * Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with MTF standards.
