An established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their location in Mifflinburg, PA. Location: Mifflinburg, PA Schedule: 10-hour shifts, typically 9am - 7pm 11-hour shifts, typically 9am - 8pm 12-hour shifts, either 8am - 8pm or 9am - 9pm Variable day/afternoon shifts Hours: Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: Lead and collaborate with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate departmental and company strategies effectively. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks. Manage pharmacy profitability by fostering script growth via clinical programs like immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available. Oversee inventory management by working closely with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to meet customer demand and optimize profits. Align department performance with key metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing medical inquiries and healthcare counseling. Supervise, train, coach, and manage all pharmacy associates and support staff. Maintain pharmacy security and orderliness. Resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. Interface with physicians and reference materials to resolve prescription issues. Prioritize daily tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls. Support ongoing staff development to improve performance and reduce turnover.
