An independent retail pharmacy in Waterbury, CT is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Provide patient counseling and support excellent customer service Manage workflow to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy Assist in building and supporting pharmacy operations as the team grows Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Connecticut pharmacist license (required) Experience in retail pharmacy settings Previous Pharmacist in Charge or leadership experience preferred Ability to work independently; currently no technician support Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented approach Familiarity or ability to quickly learn BestRx or similar systems (experience with PioneerRX helpful) Schedule & Employment Type: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM No weekend shifts Contract position with potential for permanent hire based on candidate fit This position calls for a professional with a positive mindset who will help restore stability and excellent patient relations.
