Join a dynamic per diem pharmacist team serving multiple retail pharmacy locations in the Tucson, AZ area. The client is building a reliable group of 2-3 pharmacists ready to cover call-outs, vacations, and volume surges across various sites. Key Locations Include: Multiple pharmacies in Tucson operating Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m. Pharmacies range from large stores with strong technician support to smaller pharmacist-only sites, emphasizing the importance of pre-assignment training. Responsibilities: Provide expert pharmaceutical care and counseling in a fast-paced retail environment. Manage prescription dispensing accurately for an average daily volume of 100-125 prescriptions. Support team pharmacists by filling in for absences and assisting during peak periods. Participate in an 8-hour dedicated training shift on site systems (QS1) and pharmacy-specific protocols to ensure smooth operations. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including immunizations and BLS certifications. Desired Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience, with demonstrated proficiency in managing prescriptions and patient interactions. Immunization privilege and current BLS certification required. Adaptability to work across multiple sites, including smaller locations without technician support.
