The system serves more than three million people across Suffolk, Nassau and Eastern Queens Counties of New York and has more than 3,300+ physicians in the network.This position will allow the right candidate to launch their thoracic surgery career within a structured, supportive environment under the leadership of Dr. Abbas E. Abbas, System Chair of Thoracic Surgery. This role is designed to provide strong mentorship, progressive autonomy, and a clear pathway to long-term career growth.Position OverviewThis is an early-career position focused on transition to independent practice through guided clinical experience, mentorship, and skill development.
