We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Fort Worth, TX where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Texas respiratory therapist license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Minimum 2 years of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience.NICU experience required.ICU and Emergency Department experience required.Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with intubation.BLS certification required.Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.Experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat preferred.Good customer service skills and experience caring for all patient age ranges preferred.Black scrubs required by unit dress code.
