Schedule: Day shifts 36 hours per week 13-week contract Qualifications and Experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required Demonstrated experience in critical care settings and NICU Proficient with V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Experience with EPIC electronic health record system Prior experience participating in external patient transports is essential Strong interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team collaboration Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy procedures and interventions as directed Provide aerosol, secretion mobilization, incentive spirometry, MDI, suctioning, extubation, and oxygen therapies using approved devices Manage BiPAP-CPAP, high flow cannula/humidifier, cough assist/vest therapy, and corresponding alarms Conduct pulmonary function screening and other diagnostic procedures, such as pulse oximetry and EKGs for adults and pediatrics Perform arterial puncture and blood gas analysis, quality control in the blood gas laboratory, and maintain accurate records and files Oversee patient healthcare information, medication administration, and dispensing systems (including Soarian, MAK, McKesson) Regularly verify physicians' orders and accurately document results of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Deliver BLS life support for adults, pediatrics, and neonates following active certification Support departmental standards, participate in in-service training, and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned Step into this meaningful role to support a broad patient population-your expertise makes a difference in every shift.
