Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: New York, NY (10029) Duration: 9 Weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday | 09:00 AM - 05:00 PMPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocolsPosition patients and MRI coils to ensure optimal image qualityEducate patients on procedures, expectations, and safety precautionsReview patient safety questionnaires prior to MRI suite entryEnsure all imaging is accurately labeled and meets departmental standardsEvaluate image quality and transmit studies to PACS in a timely mannerComplete and document imaging studies in the Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintain accurate patient tracking and scheduling recordsEnsure cleanliness of MRI suite and equipment, including linen managementStock and maintain supplies and accessories required for proceduresManage and scan patient-related documentationIdentify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concernsAssist physicians during procedures as neededCoordinate patient transport and communicate with inpatient unitsPerform clerical duties when support staff is unavailableStrictly adhere to MRI safety protocols, including ferromagnetic safety practicesFollow infection control policies to ensure patient and staff safetyParticipate in ongoing training, in-services, and professional developmentMaintain all required certifications and licensure in good standingPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AMA/JRCERT approved)Strong knowledge of:Cross-sectional anatomyMRI physics and physical sciencesHuman anatomy and physiologyExcellent technical, analytical, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical settingPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of MRI experienceCertifications & LicensureRequired:New York State License in Diagnostic RadiologyARRT Certification in MRIBCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) CertificationFor more details contact at hdavda@ or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
