Functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the supervision of the Radiology management team, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generationSonography education, training, and experience in the specialty area(s) to be performedMaintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job locationMust be able to participate in "stand-by/on-call" rotation after regular department hours, weekends and holidaysAbility to foster a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare teamRequirement description : Graduate of approved Ultrasound training program- REQUIRED1 year of sonographer experience- REQUIREDGeneral sonographer (including biopsies and aspirations) experience and Breast (including biopsies) experience - REQUIREDHolds a minimum of one certification from one of the following certification boards:Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)Profile RequirementsResumeSkills checklist (within 1 year)Certifications - certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtainLicense - OR license doesn't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtainCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : ARDMSARRTBLS (AHA)STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : OregonADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Weekend Requirements : Weekend schedule to be determined by facilityOn Call Requirements : No Call
