Join Blackwell, Inc. as a Dock Security Officer, where you'll combine security skills with administrative precision to ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for residents, tenants, vendors, and visitors.While this position is assigned to a primary dock post, candidates may occasionally assist with operational coverage, special projects, or support other property areas as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy structured responsibilities, monitoring access points, and serving as a central point of contact for property operations - all while primarily stationed at the dock or loading area.SchedulePrimary Schedule:Saturday - Wednesday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMFlexibility:While this position is assigned to a primary schedule, team members may occasionally assist with operational coverage or special projects outside normal hours to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service to residents, tenants, vendors, and visitorsMonitor dock and delivery access, including verifying credentials and managing check-in/out proceduresIssue and terminate access badges as requiredTrack parking validations and traffic flow for deliveries and property vehiclesAssist with special events or unusual property access needsMaintain and organize dock documentation and suppliesMonitor security systems, including cameras, alarms, and specialized softwareObserve, document, and report incidents accurately and promptlyFacilitate emergency notifications and response proceduresMaintain detailed logs and reports using digital toolsPerform additional property-specific duties as assignedCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly payMedical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Referral ProgramPerformance-based raisesContinuing education and cross-training opportunitiesOvertime availableMajor holidays paid at 1.5x hourly rateRequirementsQualifications21+ years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDCurrent St. Louis Security License (or ability to obtain one)1+ year of security experience (preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting softwareExperience with security monitoring systems (preferred)Positive, team-oriented attitudeAvailability for weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts (preferred)Comfortable working primarily in a dock/booth environment
