Registered Nurse - Outpatient - Back Office Procedure Prep - Digestive & Liver Disease Indianapolis, IN, United States Job Description RN is responsible for bowel prep in the gastroenterology outpatient clinic. Orientation period is up to 90 days and full-time on-site during that time. Fully remote after completion of training. RN back office prep work only, does not involve direct patient care. Candidate must reside in the State of Indiana. Qualifications Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exception granted for candidates lacking a nationally accredited program if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience; subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction may be required. Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
