Position: Allocation Manager Location: PowerDrive Systems Americas preferred, Europe as alternative Job Purpose The goal of the Allocation Manager is to help navigate the global electronic components supply crisis working closely with all relevant PDS plants and constrained suppliers to distribute material in the most efficient and fair manner. The role also supports escalation processes with suppliers and eventually customers, gaining exposure to higher levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities Hosting periodic (daily, weekly, bi-weekly) allocation meetings with PDS plants and supplier Preparing supply reports to support the reviews Analysing waterfalls to generate fair allocation proposals Drive escalation processes with suppliers Support customer escalation processes providing summaries, power point slides, and relevant information Drive component sharing activities between plants, both for shortages and excess scenarios Support special projects such as risk mitigation, automation and other strategic initiatives Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work in a global environment Proficiency with computer tools SAP & MS Excel required PC&L or Purchasing experience preferred Understanding of electronics manufacturing process preferred Experience with AI/automation preferred Safety This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses.
