This role is hybrid, based in Batesville, IN, requiring 3-5 days onsite per week during training, and 1-2 days onsite per week thereafter. Your Role at Batesville: As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for performing financial analysis of operating results, participating in special projects within the finance area, and supporting ad hoc analysis as needed. Leverages financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and predicts outcomes for business decisions. Perform standard and ad hoc accounting entries and month end close procedures. Manage daily and monthly capital expenditures, actual and forecasted tracking to plan. Analyze capital projects for financial returns and facilitate the follow-up process in capital reviews. Work with the business on Capital vs. Expense guidance to functional areas. Assist with Financial Business Plan and revised forecasts for all Supply Chain areas. Assist Operations Finance Manager with standard cost development and validation. Generate monthly variance analyses, reporting diagnostic measures for policy deployment. Continually seek new methods and procedures to streamline and simplify month-end reporting processes. Provide ad hoc reports as required. Will work autonomously a significant amount of time and requires a high level of independent work to be completed and delivered to other groups within the organization. Other duties may be assigned. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Accounting or Finance; and zero to three years of related accounting/finance or business analytics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in accounting/finance or business analytics. JD Edwards Accounting Software Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word experience. Hyperion Reporting and Planning Suite knowledge.
