General Job Summary The Program Security Manager (PSM) will oversee security management for the Kratos SRE Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonics Test Bed 2.0 (MACH"‘TB) program. Job Description The PSM is responsible for administering and overseeing the MACH"‘TB security program in compliance with government and company requirements. The role ensures protection of classified information, facilities, and personnel, and serves as the primary liaison with government security officials. This position requires expertise in all disciplines of the industrial security field and will interface with all levels of department, division, and government management, as well as employees and subcontractors, to cultivate and maintain optimal contract performance. The PSM provides security oversight and guidance relative to 32"¯CFR"¯117, the National Industrial Security Program, program security guides and other directives. The PSM reports directly to the Facility Security Officer (FSO). This role is available in Huntsville, AL or Crane, IN, based on the candidate's preference. Essential Functions Develop and manage security programs: create and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Conduct risk assessments: perform security risk assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential threats and implement measures to address them. Collaborate with teams: work closely with Program Managers, IT, engineering, legal, and other departments to integrate security requirements into all business processes. Maintain security policies: develop and update security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and protection against threats. Oversee training programs: manage security awareness training programs to educate employees about best practices and emerging threats. Monitor security compliance: ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements across the organization. Represent the program and security team confidently, make critical security decisions, and implement processes that prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities and information. Provide clear guidance to employees and subcontractors, recommend modifications to operations, policies, or procedures as appropriate; work as a team player, demonstrate flexibility, and excel in organizational skills to manage complex tasks. Develop and implement requirements for OPSEC and Technology Control Plans, including training to protect critical information and controlled technology entrusted to Kratos. Investigate security violations and prepare reports and corrective action reports. Maintain a working relationship with each contract's security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances. Required Experience Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience; additional years may substitute a degree. Current Top Secret clearance is required; additional clearances may be necessary. Demonstrated success as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) or equivalent for 2+ years. Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, related DoD guidance, DCSA guidance, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs). Strong working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, NISS, ACCS, SWFT, and eMASS. Experience with end"‘to"‘end clearance processing and facilitating new hires to ensure timely completion of required tasks. Experience conducting security indoctrinations and orientations for newly hired staff. Experience conducting security incident inquiries and writing investigation reports for internal use and distribution to outside entities as needed. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize under pressure. Commitment to creating and delivering high"‘quality, high"‘value security efforts for customers. Interaction with Corporate HQ and program management on insider risk management activities. Experience with Technology Control Plans (TCPs). Experience with proposal development and contract close"‘out processes. FSO Program Management Certification and other related security training. Knowledge Methods of conducting audits, inspections, control, and monitoring techniques. Relevant government legislation and regulations that pertain to national security. Security assessment methodology. Methods of facility security surveys and inspections. Knowledge of COMSEC procedures. Knowledge of NATO procedures. Experience in acquisition, mergers, and divestitures. Knowledge of sponsorship for FCL. Knowledge of SAP and SCI programs. Skills Problem solving: select appropriate alternative sources of information and utilize them to evaluate situations, with supervision. Strong interpersonal skills: developed communication skills to exchange complex information. Detail oriented to ensure security protocols are followed.
