OverviewFarnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role, you will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Central Region. This role offers great growth potential.Posting Locations: Normal, Peoria, and Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MOWhat You'll DoPerform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.What You/'ll NeedBachelor/'s (required) or Master/'s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures5-8 years of structural engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferredExperience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structuresExperience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or woodExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsStrong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneouslyRevit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferredWho We AreJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
