Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Paralegal to support contract and grant administration functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves reviewing, drafting, and revising agreements in accordance with internal policies, coordinating contract execution and tracking processes, and serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external research institutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, demonstrated experience in contracts administration, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools, and digital signature platforms is essential. A bachelor's degree or an associate's degree with a paralegal certification and 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.Responsibilities:Negotiate Point Person/Review AgreementsCollaborate with the Grants TeamReview, write, and revise contract language consistent with internal guidance and assigned deadlinesCoordinate drafting, execution, and tracking of certain contract types as part of a large-scale projectCompile and organize data from funding or other agreements consistent with internal guidanceInteract with Grant administration team and external research institutionsMaintain documentation of contracts and track metrics and outcomes assignedCoordinate signature processes as assignedAssist with supporting other special projects as appropriateQualifications:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in a contracts administration role (does not have to be specific to clinical research), OR;Associate's degree plus a verifiable paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, etc.) and a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in a contracts administration role (does not have to be specific to clinical research)Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) and interact skillfully with global grant administration team members at all levelsAt least moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPointProficiency in manipulating PDFs (i.e., Adobe Acrobat)Experience administering signature processes using standard signature platforms, such as DocuSign or Adobe AcrobatExperience with collaboration tools, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar applicationsAbility to be tactful and diplomatic in interacting with global internal and external stakeholdersMust be collaborative and a strong team playerExcellent organizational skillsLocation/Hours:This is a fully remote positionMonday - Friday; 40 hours per weekPlease note contractors are engaged to provide services to Pfizer on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment.
