Title Quality Assurance Specialist Department Deposit Operations Job Summary The primary focus for this role is verifying the accuracy of maintenance completed in multiple systems throughout the organization and providing quality assurance for identified account and core system maintenance performed. This role is vital in ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOC controls. This role could involve infrequent travel and will require the ability to communicate across various levels of leadership. This is a fast"‘paced position and will require the ability to multitask as well as adapt to change. This individual may be required to travel for initial and ongoing training. Essential Functions Maintain a thorough knowledge of all retail and treasury banking products, including the requirements for making changes to client account data and core system changes. Verify the receipt of paperwork required to support system changes with daily audit reports. Paperwork is reviewed for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes"‘Oxley standards. Communicate and track daily report exceptions to appropriate individuals. Ensure accuracy of the work being reviewed by demonstrating a strong attention to detail. Assist in balancing and approving reconciliations including but not limited to General Ledger accounts on a daily and/or monthly basis for all bank charters. Maintain an understanding of corporate Standard Operating Procedures as they apply to the job functions. This person is responsible for helping to ensure that charter staff are consistent with the SOP documents. Assist with preparing audit requests from internal departments as well as regulatory agencies. Assist in document retention, as needed. Assist in the development and upkeep of departmental quality assurance procedures. Work as a team player and provide excellent customer service to our internal clients. Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position. Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as internal audit procedures, legal regulations, and requirements. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company's mission, vision, and values. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree in finance/accounting or an equivalent combination of banking support experience and/or education is preferred. At least 2"‘4 years of experience in a banking environment or similar financial institution is beneficial. Specific knowledge of client account opening, closing, and bank maintenance procedures is preferred. Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills, intuitively knowing how to research issues, investigate them and follow through to their inevitable conclusion and resolution. Proven effective oral and written communication skills. This includes professional etiquette in all interactions. Strong computer skills are required. Capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously, at times in a fast"‘paced environment. Salary & Benefits The anticipated starting hourly wage for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
