Casting & Clinic Care: apply and remove custom casts, assist with surgical pin removal, sutures, post"‘op dressings, and guide patients on using braces, boots, crutches, splints, and other durable medical equipment. Clinic Support: maintain smooth clinic operations"”accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system, coordinate appointments, and ensure daily flow. Back Office Support: handle patient calls, prepare charts, and conduct post"‘op follow"‘up calls to maintain organization behind the scenes. Perform duties with professionalism, quality care, and an understanding of safety protocols related to bodily fluids and other potential exposures. Physical Demands: remain on feet, transfer patients, hold extremities, and operate equipment throughout the day. Minimum Qualifications Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system (obtained within 30 days of hire). One of the following certifications: Advanced EMT with the State of Utah Paramedic in the State of Utah Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA Credentialed in ABR"‘OE through AAMA Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through NCCT Clinical Medical Assistant Certification through NHA Medical Assistant through the National Association for Health Professionals (NRCMA) Three years of experience as a Medical Assistant Additional Information This position may require the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen.
