Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex) and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).Strong knowledge of at least one backend language (Golang, Node.js, Python) and experience building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with stream processing and fundamental knowledge of data processing methods, including familiarity with message queue technologies (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Preferred QualificationsExperience working with industrial protocols (OPC UA, EthernetIP, Modbus, MQTT).Experience working in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.Pay DisclosureSalary Range for Palo Alto, California based applicants: $146,900 - $183,600. Salary Range for Irvine, California based applicants: $135,000 - $168,900. Salary Range for Normal, Illinois based applicants: $123,400 - $154,200. The posted salary represents the lowest and highest ranges that Rivian Volkswagen Technologies reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position.
