You'll own key areas of the close while helping redesign workflows, drive automation, and modernize how accounting operates. If you naturally question inefficiencies, think in systems, and are excited about leveraging AI and automation to transform finance workflows, this role is for you.What You'll OwnFinancial Accounting & Client ReportingSupport and own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with GAAPPrepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysisEnsure accuracy of revenue recognition, client reporting, and payout processesStrengthen internal controls, documentation, and reporting processesSupport audits and partner with external tax advisors (income + sales/use tax)Accounting Operations & SystemsIdentify inefficiencies across accounting workflows and help redesign themDrive automation, system improvements, and process standardizationLeverage AI and modern tools to improve speed, accuracy, and visibilityBuild scalable, repeatable processes to support growthCross-Functional PartnershipPartner with Sales, Operations, and Product to align financial and operational workflowsHelp translate financial data into insights that support decision-makingWhat You Bring4+ years of accounting experience (High-growth startup operators preferred)Strong GAAP foundation with hands-on close experienceDemonstrated interest in process improvement, systems, or automationAbility to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsExperience with tools like Stripe, QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Notion, or similarFamiliarity with AI tools, with a strong interest in applying themWorking knowledge of sales/use tax is a plus!The PerksSalary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus + EquityPaid Health, Dental, Vision, Life plans ($0 Premiums + Partial Dependent Coverage)Open Vacation - Unlimited PTO401(k) (50% match up to 3%)Education / Professional StipendPaid Holidays & Birthdays OffParental LeaveTeam Offsites / EventsTicket hookupsTixr is the largest, fastest-growing, privately held primary ticketing and live event commerce marketplace in the world.
